Life is changing! I decided today to leave a perfectly good job in a comfortable work environment and step into a new role in ministry at my church. I am so not ready. I am so scared. I actually declined the offer two weeks ago but the door remained open and the second time around, my answer is yes.
Over the last three months, I have come to love my job, which has been an administrative coordinator type of job. I love the people I work with. I get excited about new challenges. It’s all been very exciting. Also, when my band played at a local brewery, my coworkers turned up! And I don’t mean they got wasted. I mean the turnout for the gig was just amazing. Seeing how supportive they were that night really made me hesitant to continue pursuing other employment.
Long story short: I am leaving at the end of the month and I will be throwing myself back into the world of church ministry.
Yikes!
